Samsung is preparing to launch its new flagship, the Galaxy S24 Ultra, with a noticeably more resistant design. According to the latest leaks, the Galaxy S24 Ultra will stand out for its titanium frame, which will make it 56% stronger than the aluminium used in its predecessors, the Galaxy S22 Ultra and S23 Ultra. This improvement in resistance will not be present in the base Galaxy S24 and S24+ models.
In addition, the Galaxy S24 Ultra will incorporate a new version of Gorilla Glass, called Gorilla Glass Armor, for screen protection. This screen will be a Dynamic AMOLED 2x with a maximum brightness of 2,600 nits. As for the processor, it will have the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 in most international markets.
On the cooling front, Samsung has opted for a larger vapour chamber system that keeps the chip 1.9 times cooler than its predecessor. This increase in cooling efficiency will be crucial to supporting processor performance.
In the photographic field, the Galaxy S24 Ultra will come equipped with an impressive 200MP main camera, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle camera, a 50MP telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom (and 10x optical quality with cutout in the sensor), and another 10MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. The phone will also feature a 12MP front camera. In addition, it will include LPDDR5X RAM, a 5,000mAh battery and support for 25W fast charging, probably compatible with 45W fast charging.
