Google has implemented restrictions on its Gemini artificial intelligence chatbot, limiting responses to queries related to ongoing elections.
This measure affects globally, applying in any country where there are elections in process. It was initially activated in the United States and is spreading to India and other countries with upcoming elections. If asked about a political party or candidate, Gemini responds that he is still learning how to answer that question and suggests using Google Search.
Additionally, last month, Google discontinued Gemini’s ability to generate images of people due to historical inaccuracies, although it plans to release an improved version to resolve these issues.
